This summer, God has placed this amazing opportunity for Ellie and I to go to Rwanda to serve others and the Lord. We are both so excited to be called to the City of Joy to help and work with kids. Ellie and I want to use our gifts and passion for kids to serve. I am eager to make new connections, grow in faith and community, and feel the purpose in being used by the Lord. I (Ellie) am thrilled to be able to get the opportunity to play and share the gospel with the kids in Rwanda, as well as build new relationships, and overall strengthen my relationship with God. As we step out in faith to go, make, baptize, and teach, we rest in God’s promise that He is with us always. We are both excited to be a part of what God is doing in Rwanda and the City of Joy. Thank you for joining us in this decision to go where God has led us. Please pray for us as we embark on this trip that it will push and stretch us out of our comfort zones.
