A personal message from Caleb: 

"This campaign is in support of Caleb Janssen’s upcoming trip to Rwanda in June
2026!

My name is Caleb, and here’s a little bit about myself! I was raised in a Christian
home, and came to know about Jesus at a very young age. However knowing and
following are two different things, and I realized this at 12 years old realizing that I
needed a relationship with God instead of just knowing about him. I got baptized
around that same time, and have been doing my best to serve him in every way
possible! Then, around three years ago, I was listening to a few of our family
friends talk about their mission trip to Africa. I listened to them and was so
encouraged by what happened there. On the way back home I heard a voice say
“Would you go to Africa on a mission trip?” And I immediately thought of the
verse from Isaiah chapter 6:8 “‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?’ Then
I said, ‘Here I am! Send me!’”. I have been looking for an opportunity to minister
to the people in Africa since then, and this opportunity arose. The ways God will
use me in this trip I’m sure will be only something He alone can plan. However, I
do know whatever He does will be good! I will be serving the people of Rwanda at
the Joy Christian school this summer, Lord willing, using all the abilities that He
has given me. In Rwanda, I will be serving at City of Joy Christian School. While I
am at the school I will be helping give a Christ-centered camp for the people that
come to the school. While we are over in Rewanda will be living out Proverbs

27:17 “Iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another.” (LSB)
