City of Joy International is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization working to transform communities through education, discipleship, and development — beginning in Rwanda and expanding globally. Our mission is to elevate communities out of poverty through Christian education and development. A critical element of accomplishing our mission is equipping, empowering, and mobilizing individuals and churches to do the good works God has prepared for them (Eph 2:10).
This is a ministry position focused on unleashing God’s people to build His Kingdom. The Mission Impact Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding and deepening the impact of City of Joy through sponsor engagement, donor storytelling, and church partnerships. This dynamic, evolving role serves as a bridge between U.S.-based supporters and the ongoing work in Rwanda. The ideal candidate is relational, organized, tech‑savvy, and excited to help others discover their role in God’s Kingdom work.
Note: As the organization grows, this role may evolve into two distinct positions (Sponsorship Director and Church/Partner Engagement Director). The Mission Impact Manager will have the opportunity to help shape that future.
