Alain Ishimwe lives in the village of Bikire. His parents are farmers. His mom, Esther spends most of her days in the field tending to their crops. Alain’s dad Felician passed away early this year. Alain enjoys playing soccer and racing with his friends during recess time. He is a hardworking student and loves reading animal storybooks. He can read fluently and writes meaningful stories. Alain would like to become a firefighter when he grows up.
