Gilbert lives in a village of Kagwa where his family farm cassava, sweet potatoes, and beans. Mom, Philomene, and dad, Jacques spends most of their days in the field tending to their crops. Gilbert enjoys racing and playing soccer with his friends. He likes reading animal books and playing with toys. He is hardworking and enjoys trying something new. He is very cheerful and hopeful. Gilbert would like to be a policeman when he grows up.
